5It Must Have Slipped My Mind by Paula Stiles
Janeway/Kashyk is one of my very favorite pairings, but as the episode "Counterpoint" retreats ever further into the past, I had despaired of seeing many more stories about it. That is, until I came across Paula's inspired drabble series. The "twist" in this one is vintage Janeway/Kashyk, just the way I like to see them both.

Perfect title. I like the way CyberMum plays with the J/C cliches here.

Amusing little piece, it was great fun to imagine all of the men on Voyager in women's bodies and it was written without losing the unique traits of the individuals.

Wow, but there are a lot of couples in there! And all within such a small space, too... Cute story.

I love the questions at the news conference--yes, precisely the sort of thing inquiring minds want to know. And the final line is great.
-- Rocky - Sun, 06 Apr 2003 09:39:18 -0400

9Turnabout Is Fair Play by Paula Stiles
The Janeway/Kashyk interaction is perfect; both characters are captured exactly in just a few words.

Boy what a challenge! And you met it well. I can just imagine the look on Janeway and Seven's faces when they emerged from the holodeck and saw everyone waiting!

3Anticipation by Rocky
It figures that Chakotay would be typical male! Cute drabble and loved the title!

5It Must Have Slipped My Mind by Paula Stiles
This was my favorite of "Six Battles in Search of a War." Could you imagine Kashyk's jaw hitting the floor as Kathryn delivers her line? Great stuff!
-- Cait N. - Sun, 06 Apr 2003 23:38:38 -0400

Talk about a play on words! Cute line from Seven and, of course, I love the play on the whole "Resistance is futile" line.
-- Cait N. - Sun, 06 Apr 2003 23:41:07 -0400

8A Snippet by CyberMum
CyberMum had me going for a while there! But I think this was a lot cuter than what I was picturing!
-- Cait N. - Sun, 06 Apr 2003 23:44:07 -0400

9Turnabout Is Fair Play by Paula Stiles
Nice, very nice. I can imagine how much Bashir wanted to punch the Commander's lights out. Great restraint that he didn't.
-- Cait N. - Sun, 06 Apr 2003 23:45:13 -0400

6Lesstosterone by Bill Livingston
haha The Doctor with long hair! I would have paid to have seen *that* episode on tv.

*blinking* Whoa. I'm not sure if Seema has the exceptionally dirty mind or if it's me. You should sell tickets to this one, Seema. ;)

3Anticipation by Rocky
LOL. That was a smack on the nose for ignoring Rocky's warning. That ending is soooo true, too. Hee.

5It Must Have Slipped My Mind by Paula Stiles

6Lesstosterone by Bill Livingston
Bill Livingston's sense of humor had me laughing out loud, which is typical for me. He may make comedy look easy, but it certainly isn't. Great work, Bill!

5It Must Have Slipped My Mind by Paula Stiles
I liked each drabble in Snowleopard's multi-series collection about payback. Each one featured a different kind of payback and this one seemed particularly apt.
-- Rabble Rouser - Wed, 09 Apr 2003 11:12:26 -0400

6Lesstosterone by Bill Livingston
I had to laugh at the punch line of this particular drabble. Not usually a fan of the genre but this was one worth reading.
-- Rabble Rouser - Wed, 09 Apr 2003 11:13:16 -0400

I enjoyed this drabble a great deal. It had the kind of punch at the end a very good drabble should, with a great last line. Nice Seven voice too.
-- Rabble Rouser - Wed, 09 Apr 2003 11:14:11 -0400

8A Snippet by CyberMum
This was hilarious. I loved the alternating point of views, the ultimate twist/punch line, and the way it all tied into the title. I'm not a drabble fan, but this was a genuinely amusing example of the genre.
-- Rabble Rouser - Wed, 09 Apr 2003 11:15:00 -0400

9Turnabout Is Fair Play by Paula Stiles
Very, very nice. A real story, a well-set scene in a drabble within that cramped space of only one hundred words. One form of pay-back in Paula's Pay Back series of drabbles I really relished.
-- Rabble Rouser - Wed, 09 Apr 2003 11:15:39 -0400

LOL! Yep. I like the realistic view of the way they'd be using the holodecks. Do they get little numbers for their place in line or what?
-- Paula Stiles - Mon, 14 Apr 2003 22:46:36 -0400

6Lesstosterone by Bill Livingston
Bwahahaha! Nice last line! Figures that Tom would be the one to screw up and the Doctor would be the only one happy about it!
