19Scarlett's Conquest by Ventura33
As a long time fan of Scarlett and her tale, I absolutely adore this tale of two love-um-and-leave/use-ums and a send up I'll bet even Margret Mitchell would admire. For once, she sees Ashley for the wimp he is. . .

28Time After Time Dear Herbert by Rob Morris
Absolutely chilling. This story is one I missed and am very glad to have found. Not only is the premise credible, but he has a good point. Few remember HG Wells essays of peace, but read War of the Worlds on a dark night and allow youself to see the people fleeing down the road, pushing aside slower neighbors, and you see any number of times in the 20th century. And I love the reference to Haight-Ashbury. His steeling of the intentions of men in airplanes going to New York is a chilling moment.Bravo for seeing the dark side and defining it so very well, Rob.

19Scarlett's Conquest by Ventura33
I really got a kick out of this one! In my opinion, this is a much better 'sequel' to GWTW than that officially sanctioned 'bodice-ripper' that came out a number of years ago. (Of course, shirt-ripping, especially for a particular Starfleet captain, is not only acceptable but required ). Glad to see that someone finally made Scarlett come to her senses about Ashley, but as for this treatment of Rhett, well--fiddle-dee-dee! "Kiss my bustle", indeed! So many nice little touches here--the curtains, the mint julep for Bones. This was delightful.

26The True Outer Space Magical Adventures of Lieutenant Kitty by Jungle Kitty
This was truly inspired. Aside from the wonderful synopses of the various TOS episodes, the LOTR touches alone are worth the price of admission. "Lt. Kitwen"--half-sister of Aragorn, niece of Galadriel, faithful member of the Fellowship, true heir of Luthien--is a wonderful invention. I just love her little editorial comments and asides, and the updates from the West, not to mention Middle-Earth, are hysterical. I am amazed (and impressed) at how many references Jungle Kitty got in there, from Riders of Rohan to Shadowfax to Bill the pony to Moiria to Isildur to Quickbeam. I've got too many favorite lines to mention but the comments about Redshirts and the musing over a possible relationship between Vulcans and Elves are just too wonderful. And for once, it truly made sense to have a Mary Sue who really did have supernatural powers and could do it all. Not to mention had everyone fall in love with her.

2Along the Way by Rob Morris
Rob is the Crossover King, but this rendition of Voyager Meets Lost In Space is so obvious it's amazing no one else tried this. I can just see Janeway and John Robinson having a heart to heart about their situations. Even without the complications thrown in the later chapters (evil alien possession), I would be unhappy if we're left hanging much longer for the conclusion.

26The True Outer Space Magical Adventures of Lieutenant Kitty by Jungle Kitty
About the only way I can stomach a LOTR/Trek crossover would be a parody, and JK's done it soooo well. From "quarters uglier than Moria" to "Jim much smarter than Gandalf," this is a riot and should have a no-beverage warning.

3Alternity: The Warden by Kelly Meding
Great fun! Loved this scary tale of vampires in space. The Buffy and Enterprise characters blend wonderfully together as they join forces to hunt down their evil foes, with each universe staying true to its own series in the process. There's a well-crafted, consistent plot all throughout, lots of creepy things going bump in the dark, and our favorite heroes saving the day. Woohoo!

14Natural Enemies by Djinn
Djinn's Buffy-like stories of Christine the Slayer are certainly among the most imaginative tales we'll ever find on ASC! There's a tense hostage situation here, and fast-paced action. As for Spock bonding with a vampire friend -- totally priceless!

26The True Outer Space Magical Adventures of Lieutenant Kitty by Jungle Kitty
This Lord of the Rings crossover is so hilariously whacko, I probably ought to feel guilty for encouraging Jungle Kitty to write it. (But I don't.) Hee hee!

3Alternity: The Warden by Kelly Meding
I find it is rare that a crossover really works like this one did. It is very hard to blend two worlds and make them interact credibly and one series or the other often suffers. Not this time. This was so much fun. Kick-ass, suspenseful plot, wonderful characterizations and voice (and doing credible Buffy voices is _not_ easy), seamless transitions, and the author's love and affection for both sets of characters really came across. I have enjoyed all of Meding's Enterprise stories; this one is my favorite--and one of my favorite Enterprise stories period. I loved the way the author found to insert the characters into each other's universe and their initial bewilderment in each "alternity." I loved how well all of them worked together. The whole Warden and amulet device was so very imaginative and well-done, all the voices rang so true, and it was so vividly written the story unrolled before my eyes as if it was on a screen. I loved the ending with that scene between T'Pol and Trip. The original characters were vivid too--I liked Ensign Harris and the Warden crew--vamps and all. Wonderful story, longer than most, but worth the read. I certainly wouldn't mind a sequel.

8For to Carry Me Home by Paul Gadzikowski
Nice use and mixture of characters from 4 series.

14Natural Enemies by Djinn
Natural Enemies is one of my favorite stories in Djinn's Classic Trek/Buffy crossover Slayer series, second only to her Gotterdammerung. One thing I liked very much in the series and in this story was that it was among the first I had read by Djinn that focused not just on Spock and Christine Chapel but took in a wider picture of the Enterprise crew and did a nice job of showing the team work and deep bonds between them. Uhura for instance in this tale really shines and shows her mettle as an officer. My favorite scene though is that between Spock and Spike down on the planet where they find common ground. Too funny. The interaction between them is a treat as is that between Christine and Drusilla. It's great fun as is the entire story from the beginning and features an affecting ending. Natural Enemies is one crossover that does full justice to both its sources and all its characters. I enjoyed it a great deal.

15Never Alone by Djinn
I love Djinn's original series crossovers with the Buffyverse and even given an author as talented as Djinn that's not necessarily a given. Crossovers are hard and when I first found this story on her website long before she posted the Slayer stories to ASC, I was completely unfamiliar with Buffy. Reading them again after having gained familiarity with Buffy certainly made me appreciate them a great deal more, but from the first Never Alone was a great read. Djinn makes Christine an interesting figure showing here a disturbing darkness. I like how Christine's relationship with Spock is developing and growing and how Djinn fills in the characters and relationships among the crew. I very much like her Kirk, McCoy, and Uhura here. She also does as well by the Buffy/Angel character of Drusilla who appears in the story. "Never Alone" also features a bite your nails plot and an imaginative setting. One very good read.

19Scarlett's Conquest by Ventura33
Bwwaaahhhhaaaaaaa Ventura at times, is truly demented. Never could I have imagined putting these two worlds and characters together. This is wonderfully one of those times, and I love it. "Scarlett's Conquest" is an absolutely brilliant crossover of Gone With the Wind and Star Trek's Original Series. This reminds me of Ventura's Shakespeare parody. Ventura does a hilariously dead on Scarlett O'Hara. In "Scarlett's Conquest" Ventura caputures Scarlett's scheming, narcissitic voice exactly. I loved Scarlett's catty little comment about Ashley. The saber duel was a riot. I like how incidents and scenes from Gone With the Wind were utilized here. The Gone With the Wind milieu was delightfully and imaginatively parodied all the better for its clash with the world of Star Trek. And certainly Star Trek wasn't safe from having gentle fun poked at it too. I loved seeing Kirk and company through Scarlett's eyes. Too funny. And of course Ventura gives it the perfect (inevitable?) last line.

23The Nightmare Continues by Rob Morris
If you know Buffy, that last line will make you giggle.

26The True Outer Space Magical Adventures of Lieutenant Kitty by Jungle Kitty
I liked the jokes like Spock as an elf and the breathless, gossipy, mean narcisstic voice.
