The Ribbon by DocBevCulver

This story was short, but great! It forever changed that episode for me, what an innovative idea.

Echoes by Ke Roth

What an achievement. Every single TNG character is given time and depth, plus the inclusion of Andile\'s character was amazing. The story was emotional, intriguing, romantic and adventurous. Fantastic character development, unique plot, a very strong story.

But For Love by Patricia Ann LaFerrara

This was a very fresh take on Beverly\'s character, and as a result, a new look at the episodes included as well. The stories from the past that Patricia created, as well as Beverly\'s relatives/friends were well developed and interesting. I also liked her development of the P/C relationship, especially their little inside jokes that we were privy to.

Snow Falling Softly by mackillian

This story kept me waiting in suspense for a new chapter. Expertly written, very interesting. Very good characterizations of both Star Trek\'s characters, and Mac\'s creations. A believeable take on the \"they had kids together\" story, really well done.

Darkness by Rocky

This beautiful character exploration of both Picard and Janeway used their respective experiences well in highlighting what kind of character it takes to become a Starfleet Captain and the fine line they tread in doing what duty demands.

The ASC Awards are a project of the ASC-VSO, led this year by Seema (Awards-Coordinator), aided by Rocky (Assistant Coordinator) and Stephen (Awards Tech Support) They run every year from March to April for stories posted to ASC (alt.startrek.creative) between February 1 and January 31. A Tribble was harmed when we moved the voting booth. A little ... okay he's dead but there are plenty more around.
