Monkey Business by Rocky

I enjoyed this fun story even more on this second reading, when I picked up a few extra references I\'d missed the first time around. Chekhov\'s simian characteristics have been taken to hilarious extremes with just about every Tarzan and Monkee trick included. Spock and Kirk didn\'t escape unscathed, either. I loved it.

The Russian Always Screams Twice by Jane Skazki, Arctapus, Ventura33

Sulu in Chandler space. A fun story with all the regular characters involved in deep skulduggery. I love pastiche, and this one looks as though it was as much fun to write as it is to read.

Pun-ishment 32 by Rob Morris

It has an irresistible punchline, as I\'ve come to expect from Rob Morris. A great drabble.

5-7-5 by Jungle Kitty

The haiku say it all! These haiku were a great idea, and great fun too.

The ASC Awards are a project of the ASC-VSO, led this year by Seema (Awards-Coordinator), aided by Rocky (Assistant Coordinator) and Stephen (Awards Tech Support) They run every year from March to April for stories posted to ASC (alt.startrek.creative) between February 1 and January 31. A Tribble was harmed when we moved the voting booth. A little ... okay he's dead but there are plenty more around.
